First entry

<p dir=ltr>Good morning from Silver City, New Mexico where it is 29 degrees. Thankfully this is a down day and my body gets a chance to recover slightly. We only rode 4 days this section, however; those days equated to 320 miles with day 4 only 40 miles. Had a gourmet breakfast this morning thanks to Andree S. Eggs scrambled with onion, mushrooms and red pepper. The blessing of a day off.
This is turning out to be one of the best experiences of my life. Annie and I joke about which of us would have made the journey through the wilderness in the 1800's. I can say from my current trip, probably neither of us. Sorry for no pictures, have not gotten that part down yet.
