Here’s
a photo of my husband, Peter, and I doing some hiking in Rocky National Park in
Colorado. We actually live in St. Louis
where we’ve been for the past decade. We enjoy hiking, biking, and
backpacking, and we especially enjoy visiting our two grown children: a son in
Frisco, Colorado, and a daughter in Atlanta, Georgia. This will be my
first cross country bike ride and I’m looking forward to the challenge and to
sharing the adventure with this group!
What a great team!! looking forward to hearing about your adventures!! Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!! Karen & Jim, St. Louis
ReplyDeleteHi Linda.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy you are having this wonderful adventure.
Enjoy every second of it !
Be safe on the bike.
Thought about you this morning as I rode my indoor road bike while it was snowing in Saint Louis.
Have fun !
Your Utah/Zion/Clayton friend Michael K.
I am so proud of you! My mom is amazing!!!! Just past half-way mark - incredible!!!

Can't wait to hear about your adventure!!! We think of you often and send lots of love and support. Miss you! Don and Cindy
ReplyDeleteYou need to get in more pictures!! Emailed you for a second time because I can't seem to get my comments to post ...maybe this time will work. Looks like an amazing trip...I am in awe of your biking endurance. We finally got bikes and rode 1 mile on Friday (pretty pathetic, I know!) and 6 mile on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that at that rate we should be up to 20 miles by this time next year! And you're doing approx 70miles a day - WOW! Enjoy the scenery and so looking forward to your first hand account. xo, Penny
Looks like you are on the home stretch...YAY! How close did you get to the alligators in some of the photos? It's a gorgeous day here today and I hope you are having the same fantastic weather. So the question is, are you looking forward to not having to bike everywhere or has it become so much a part of each of your days that a day without biking is unthinkable? Can't wait to see you guys when you come through Knoxville :-) xo, Penny
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on about 3,000 so far. See you soon in Knoxville.
