Right then. I've been cycle touring for quite a few years now. In the past I've completed three trips to Spain from England through France, twice with friends and once on my own, most recently last summer (well what passed for a summer in Europe anyway). I've also toured the United Kingdom, including the coast to coast, mouth to mouth and cider to cheese tours.

I'm looking forward to the trip for so many reasons, days and days of carefree riding, amazing geography, new friends,  new experiences and the opportunity to eat as much as I want for nearly two months.

As you'll also notice from the picture I like to engage in a spot of downhill action when the opportunity arises. This picture was taken in the French Alpes a few years ago. I don't know the cow.
