Today is our second day in Louisiana, so it's goodbye Texas hill country and hello soggy flatness. The wildlife has changed a little also. Every little stream or brook has turtles sunning themselves on logs. I spotted a snake having a morning dip in the bayou earlier and this evening we stopped in Oberlin which had a very friendly tree frog population. As you will see from the pics below, I may have made a new pal.
