Blue Bonnets

For years I have heard about the Texas bluebonnets and since I love wildflowers, I have been looking forward to seeing the display of blooms. I was nonplussed to discover that Texas bluebonnets are Lupine! We have Lupine. In Oregon, a different species of this same Genus. See the Oregon display below.

    Lupine????? that's Texas....I think they know about their cows than their flowers. The jersey looked great in the Bluebonnets/Lupine. Enjoy the ride.
